feels like a long time since I last posted but now I'm back.. concentrating on the last couple of months of my degree took it out of me. so much so I had no time to even ponder pcos.. which was a blessing I suppose.
anyway, I had my degree show in nottingham and also got chosen to exhibit at free range in london (a kind of 'best of' british art and design courses at the old truman brewery in brick lane). I ended up with a high 2:1.. so I'm really pleased all round really. though, I must say, it's suddenly very weird to be out of the education system. no idea what to do with myself until I find a job.
anyway - I just wanted to tell you all that, starting over the coming weeks, I'm starting a proper battle with pcos. I've had too many college/university related excuses over the past few years. I just bought 'the ultimate handbook for pcos' by collette harris and it's great, I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who needs a motivational boost and a few extra tips. I've also ordered insulite from america after months of reading up about it here. I know it's expensive, but what with the exchange rate at the moment it's not really that bad.. I'm sure if I bought all the ingredients separately I'd end up spending the same. so that's my plan for the next 6 months.. eat well (I'm not calling it a diet!), take insulite, exercise every day (ok, save sundays) and detox my life. I'm giving myself 6 months to lose about 3/4 stone.. maybe it isn't realistic but I'm sure setting myself a goal is great motivation.

Congratulations on your degree - you must have put in a hell of a lot of work to get there!
Good for you for getting on top of the PCOS too but don't let it run your life ok? What is this insulite you talk of?
