 back on the bcp...hoping for a fresh start
I haven't taken my bcp (femcon) in about 3-4 months now. My insurance requires that I get my Rx filled by mail instead of going to a local pharmacy. Since my OB/GYN gave me a 3 month supply in August I was lazy and didn't get it filled right away. A couple of weeks ago I finally got my act together and got it filled after filling out tons of paperwork and having to call the mail pharmacy.
I got the bcp in the mail this week but haven't taken it yet because I didn't want to cause any nausea or crap this past week as I just completed my first week of student teaching.
I write all of this to say that I am going for a fresh start. I'm gonna take the medicine and stay on it for a long time this time instead of stopping. I'm choosing to be healthy since I know I will get painful cysts if I don't take it.
I'm also choosing to be healthy by going to the gym more frequently and eating some healthier foods but that's another story for another time......... |
