Back on Diane 35, and does it matter when you start? Well I'm back on my old buddy Diane 35. I've been on and off it for a couple years, it's really the only one that's helped my androgen levels (and cleared up my skin and made me stop shedding!). Don't see my endo til June 2, my GP put me on Diane 35 because I'm going INSANE being off all hormone meds (for the endo testing I did). Haven't been on a pill since December, that was Alesse. Oddly enough my moods are better on the pill, the GP thinks that it's because my high androgens make my emotional lability go way up. Still it's not what I think of as the solution though, as it never has brought my testosterone into 'normal' range....want to know the source of the problem, not just bandaid the symptoms. But hopefully will get some insight on the 2nd!
Anyway I have a question. I know it says to start on the first day of your period. Well I don't get periods very often without being on the pill, so I just started it when I got it. DOES THIS AFFECT IT'S CONTRACEPTIVE EFFECTS, and for how long. I mean, does it make a difference?
