Unhappy Back and don't know where to begin...

Hi Ladies--this is a half vent half need advice post. Bear with me. I used to be on here all the time a few years ago (don't even know what my screen name was!!). In 2002 my cycles became almost non-existant and an ultrasound showed the "string of pearls" on my ovaries. At the time I was not ttc so I did not pursue anything. In 2003 after irregular bleeding, my doc put me on a bcp but my bp got high and after a month I was off it. However this jump started my cycles and I got pg and had my dd in 2004. After giving birth my cycles were like clockwork. However, this past January, my cycle was off by a week and I ended up with a hemorraghic cyst. Since that time my cycles have been normal somtimes and off sometimes. I mentioned this to my new obgyn and she was no too concerned and said as long as I am ovulating just leave well enough alone. I of course am worried that I am headed down that old path again. Also I never had any other medical tests that indicated PCOS for sure.
I hoped this cycle was normal and dh and I decided to ttc again for the first time since dd. But no dice so far. However, this weekend I had O pains (2 weeks later than normal) so we decided to ttc in case.

I have been having dull aches in the pubic bone area on and off for the past couple weeks. And a bout of nausea 2 weeks ago (may be nerves) and again today. Is somethign wrong with me or is this perhaps just PCOS rearing its ugle head again? Any thoughts? If not thanks for letting me vent

My first question is have you tested since it's been two weeks? My second is have you talked to your doctor about confirming PCOS? Those would be my first two things on my list if I were you. To answer your question about whether it sounds like PCOS rearing up, for me, that's similar to what happens when I'm having an annovulatory cycle. I feel like my body is trying to O, and I get all the symptoms along with feeling sick to my stomach, and I'll stay having low level nausea but every time I test, nothing. I attribute it to the excess hormones my body is out of whack making. I hate PCOS!

Thanks. I did an HPT test but its been negative. Haven't done an O test yet. I think I will do that next cycle if this one's a bust and make an appt for formal PCOS testing.
Thanks for the support :-)
