Default Back pain & PCOS & AF?????

Hi all,

Just wanted to pick your brains... At the moment I have a bad back and I'm not sure what is causing it. AF is trying to make an appearance and I do usually get back pain, but it's so bad at the mo that I'm spending most of my time laying flat on my back with a hot water bottle. I'm also getting ovary pains and cramps etc. The funny thing is that sometimes it seems to be almost better and then within a couple of hours I'm laid up again in agony. When it gets this bad, I can't stand up straight and the pain shoots down my leg, which makes me think that it may be more muscular, but ~I really don't know!
The only other thing I'm wondering is if it is related to my kidneys. Just over a week ago I posted to say that I had blood in my urine and some replies suggested it may be to do with my kidneys.

Anyhoo, I'll stop waffling on! If anyone has any ideas I would be really grateful!

p.s - Avoiding going to doc's just yet as he will probably give the standard response of "Lose weight" grrrr!

Are you being treated for the blood in the urine?

That is a classic sign of a UTI or kidney infection.

I had cronic UTI's for a year. I never had pain with urination(top symptom of UTI)until the last UTI. UTI are also a side effect of endometreosis.

Look it up and call for a doctors appt. UTI's left untreated can cause severe unreversable damage. Don't wait any longer!!

FYI...You can have blood in your urine for MONTHs and not realize it.
By the time the doctor took a sample from me I was pasing bladder lining tissue the size of my pinky!! Like I said, I never had pain with urination till the end. I have a hysterectomy and I have not had a UTI since.(cronic UTI is a symptom of endometreosis.)

Let me know if I can help.
I have lots of links in my siggy that covers all of it.

Hang in there

Patty

Thanks so much for your reply patty, I only had the blood for one day and then it disappeared. I have just come back from holiday and the blood in my urine happened a couple of days before I went and I have to confess that I chickened out of going to the doctors coz I didn't want anything to spoil my holiday! I have no other symptoms of a uti, just the blood for one day!
