Default Bad day... Good day... Just anoter day...

Well after my post yesterday I should be happy after all I dont have Cushing's Syndrome, but there is still the fact that I am fighting with PCOS. Its very hard for many people around me to understand everything I am going through and I feel like I don't have the support I need. I am glad to talk to people you know first hand. This morning my husband decided that now I'm not going though the whole Cushing's Syndrome that he needs to be an ass about pushing me to loose weight. When I confronted him he said he was tired of being supportive and that now it was time to be like this and maybe he could get somewhere. I am so frustrated with how people think that because I'm "FAT" that it is entirly my fault. So since people think that I need support by not giving any at all I will loose then when I do and they don't have the same person they will question why. I guess you can say I have now built a wall and that wall will be hard to cross. I need encouragement from people who understand. This is hard and I don't want it to get the best of me. So anyone who wants to give me a shout of encouragement it would be greatly apriciated. Its almost sad that I can ask complete strangers for support and get it but the people who are supposed to be there for me are not. I guess today will be a bad day...

I am so sorry your hubby said that to you! Like as if that is going to help you

I have a feeling things will get better once you have a dx and a plan of action with your doc, then you can have something to work towards.

Don't feel silly about coming here for support, thats what we are here for!

I hope you day gets better

I think it is VERY hard for our loved ones to accept that we have a real problem. Because we dont LOOK sick. I think PCOS makes you feel horribly, emotionally, mentally, and physically. You try to fight the fight, but it gets exhusting.

Why dont you introduce your husband to this site? Let him read other cysters post's, maybe then he will make a connection.

Me and my DH had a discussion about this the other day, he has a COLD!!!! and he is to sick to do anything. I went off!!! I ask him how would he like to deal with the things I have to deal with? Like the bleeding and the cramps and the cysts and every other thing!! I told him I have been sick for years, so I did not really feel sorry for him and his cold!!!!

DH cant say nothing about my weight gain, because he aint no bean pole!!

Good Luck to you!!

Nicole
