Default bad dreams about hair loss

Do you have bad dreams about your hairloss?
Last night I dreamt about my mother telling me to shave my head because she is buying me a wig. In the dream, I say to myself that the hair loss is my fault because i did something to it and maybe i could have done something to stop the hairloss but didn't. Then I shave my head with an electric razor and put on a ridiculous-looking wig and it flashes between a head with a wig and a bald head.

I've had several bad dreams about hair loss. Another one of was seeing half a head of hair in the garbage bin. This is just, like very depressing! Sometimes I think even if I try and succeed in becoming skinny, I'll still have the hair loss and facial hair to deal with, so it just seems hopeless.

::BIG HUGS:: to you sweetheart. I am so very sorry that you are experiencing all of this hun. I wanted to tell you, I know what you are going through sweetheart. I have nightmares about the excess body hair. I have dreams about me growing a full length dark beard overnight....and I have woken up and been so upset over it...terribly upset.

I just wanted to tell you sweetheart you are not alone...and I dont want you to feel hopeless. Everyday there are new medical discoveries and there are new medications being made to help with different symptoms of this syndrome....::Hugs:: We can get through everything and anything together.

Just know you are beautiful and you are loved...and there really is light at the end of the tunnel. We are here for you and we love you.

Yep, sometimes I dream about hair loss, and it's always in an anxiety type dream.

Of course, I'm wearing hairpieces and wigs now, and sometimes now I dream about them......getting caught without my hair piece, etc. Just recently I had a really disturbing dream about being back at college, and needing to go down the hall in the dorm to take a shower, but how would I take my hair off, and get it back on without anyone knowing. Yikes, I just woke up feeling so sad about it!

Oh, and please puhllleeeeeeeze, try not to fell hopeless???!!!! I know it is awful, but honestly, we can get through this! (And if it comes to it, wearing a hairpiece or a wig is not the most awful thing that can happen in life. They are kinda fun, and the new ones can be fantastic and make you feel so great about how you look!) DEFINITELY do take care of yourself, and keep working on becoming a more fantastic person all the time, in all kinds of ways.

We are NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT defined by our weight or our hair! As awful as the cosmetic issues are, they do not begin to define you, your soul!!!

And you did not do anything to 'cause this! You know that, right?

I've been there honey. I think all the time about when it's finally get to the wig point. Somedays I do ok, others I want to hide. My husband and I joke about getting what we call "Cher-wigs" so I can change my hair color everyday. But it's probably not too far from what it will be like.
Hang in there....your hair isn't what makes you beautiful. And Katrina, your lack of facial hair isn't what makes you beautiful either. It's your inner spirit that shines through. Your strength and your love.
I'll be praying your nightmares stop. You're not alone. Never forget that.
Hugs
Julie

Hugs to you

I too have the hair nightmares ... I have severe hairloss and am looking into cosmetic options ... I have nightmares ona daily basis .... I usually dream it all falls out quickly or I get up and my hair is on the pillow ... hate it .... its anxiety I think about it when I go to sleep and first thing in the morning it consumes me pretty much all day too ... it seems cruel that we then have to dream the thing becuase I love sleeping

Be strong x
