Thumbs down Bad Experience with Magic Cream

I've used the Magic Cream a total of 3 times now.

The first time, I used it "down south", but only left it on for about 6 minutes before I started to panic that something terrible might happen, lol, and took it off. It removed some hair, but not all.

The second time I used it, I tried it on my leg. I shaved my right leg (shaving cream & Shick Quatro) and used the Magic Cream on the left leg. They seemed about the same with hair removal. Also, the re-growth was exactly the same. Personally, I liked shaving better because I can shave my legs faster then the required "leave on" time for the cream.

Third (and last) time was a few days ago. I used it again (down south) but kept it on longer. By the time I had to take it off, it was itching like crazy. I removed it. Yes, it removed the hair...BUT....it also removed my skin. I was bleeding in several spots. The whole day it burned so bad everytime I had to pee.

I will NEVER use this stuff again...in fact, I'm throwing it away now. Just wanted to give a bad experience story since so many praises on here. Guess it just doesn't work for everyone. Oh, well.

Yikes! What an experience! I only used it on my arms and I suffered a lot of irritation, so it's not up my alley either.

Carrie, I've been lucky with the Magic Cream, but had a bad reaction to Sally Hansen's Brazillian hair remover cream. I know exactly what you mean about burning badly when you urinate. I found the Aveeno diaper rash ointment to be the only thing that helped with the burning pain.

yanno.... it's just not worth the pain to put any type of cream on that VERY sensitive area.

I stopped using that stuff a LONG time ago when I learned what the chemicals can do to your skin..
and went out and bought a "lady remington" battery operated shaver. Now in less than 5 minutes I'm all nice and neat and hairless in those areas and it doesn't leave that nasty razer burn or chemical burn.

I also tried it I like that it takes the hair off but do not like the fact it doesn't get all. I was so itchy for a few days that I'm not going to use and just continue to do waxing.

I have started using this cream too. I still like it but hair on legs grows back in 2 days and is still thick but on other ares hair has stopped gorwing back or is finer. At times if i leave it on too long get burns. Another downside is after pregnancy and putting onw eight ahve stretch marks in the most bizzare of ares especially down there. So wherever i have stretch marks the hair does not remove.
