Bad self image day- just saw pics ftom the wedding I was in in June!
I am just having a down day as I feel like I look like so wide in every picture! I was trying to find one where I looked ok to have made to put in the engraved frame she gave us for being in her wedding. I am just so frustrated that . I have gained so much weight 2. I have been focusing on that and not the wonderful friendship and honor it is to be someone bridesmaid!
I was really trying to lose before her wedding too and realloy spent a lot of time and money to go tanning, get hair done, nails done, facials etc! And then I saw the pics and was like uggh what a waste - no one will see all that just how wide I look!
Anyone feel this way and hate it!
I do hun! I'm sure nobody else is looking as critically as you are. I have friends getting married soon and I want to try and lose as much weight as possible before I have to get stuffed into a dress. I am sure you looked beautiful! (((Hugs)))

I got married in October and when I look at the PICS I gag!!! It's true though, no on is as critical as yourself. When everyone looks at my wedding pics they tell me how beautiful I look and I am looking at them in disgust. I am sure you will look great...Positive self image comes from within!! Just because you don't look like Barbie doesn't mean your not beautiful!!
I know how you feel. I am sure that you were just beautiful in the photos. Please don't let it get you down, I am trying to change the way I look. I know that it is going to be a long rocky road, but I am sick of the way I look in photos as well!
Be proud that your friend was honored to have you in her wedding!

I take wedding photos, and believe me, nobody (well, nobody worth knowing, anyway) is thinking that. When I look at the girls in the photos, all I see is how nice they look; the pretty dresses and elegant hair-do's.
Believe it or not, I've had many plus-size women outshine the skinny ones! It's all a matter of attitude !
Don't be so down on yourself, hon. It's not that bad.

All your words were really helpful!! I am trying to work on things and lose weight but I am still beautiful at every weight and I am going to continue to get my hair done, nails done, and take time to do my makeup and pick out something I feel good wearing! Love you all- thanks!!
