I haven't been here all that long, so I might not have the best explanation, and I'm sure I"ll miss something somewhere, but...
You get points for posting in other threads, and for starting your own.
You can deposit points in the bank to earn interrest on them, or yuo can just hold on to them. You can withdraw points from the bank whenever you'd like too.
The various smilies, ribbons, and other little icons under peoples names are called Gifts here, which you can use your points to buy. You can buy the gifts and send them to other people on here, and they will always have that gift there under their names. The ribbons you buy only for yourself.
The little green boxes are representations of your Reputation here. When people see your posts, get to know you, and things like that, people can click on the little scale icon below at the bottom of your posts to give you a boost in reputation. As you get more, you get more little boxes.
It's just a way to have fun, get to know people around the boards, and help to build up some friendships and bright eachothers' days.
Thank you very much for the wonderful explaination. That sounded perfect. Wow I am glad that I found this message board and group. Maybe now I can finally get some advise to things that have been bothering me in my treatment.

I'm sure you can. Just have a look around, ask away with whatever questions you might have, and check out some of the things that sound like they might be something that you're having to deal with.
There are a lot of different things that PCOS can cause, and many of them don't show up in everybody. It's an odd little thing, that PCOS.
The ladies here are wonderful and always willing to help in whatever way they can.
If all are like you Fyn_hubby then this will be a new addition to my daily routine. Thank you ever so much for the warm welcome.

I am going to seem like a real ninny but, how do you convert your points to bank? I used
to know how to do this but it looks like the handles changed or I have just started loosing my mind which would not be out of the picture
