Ok so I was given Misoprostol for today HSG procedure becasue my cervix is very small and they couldn't even get in there last month so I was ok anything to help right? Well she gave me 4 supposortories to insert before going to bed and then around 2am I started cramping so bad! I mean it made me break out in a sweat and all.
Well since I temp at 5:45 and I was trying so hard not to get up and take someting for the cramps I could take NO MORE got up took my temp first it was 98.2, took the medication and laid back down thinking of I need 3 hours of sleep for a correct reading on my temps so I will just get up at 7am set the alarm, 4-7 3 hours right!??!? When the alarm went off my temp was up 98.4 I am not sure what temp to log as I am sure I will get crosshairs that I am ovulating right? Maybe? Look at my chart what do you ladies think? It would sound almost right being she upped my clomid because she wanted me to ovulate earlier than CD19 but with the HSG I am scared that if I am ovulating then it will be a month loss you think?!?!? I am confused!
The side effects associated with misoprostol vary according to the dosage and route of administration, but typically include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, chills, shivering and fever.
SO fever being one of them could be the cause of my high temp you think? I have not logged FF yet because I wanted to ask you ladies what you all thought!?!?!

Not sure about charting but your HSG should have been scheduled early enough in your cycle to not interfer w/ O'ing.

Oh wow, lots of interesting stuff. Ok, 1st, Misoprostol can definitely cause your temps to go haywire. 2nd, from my understanding, if you don't take your temp at the same time every day, if you oversleep your temp isn't accurate. Likewise if you don't get enough sleep same thing happens. So, I would just scrap temping this month, and just use OPK's and observe your CM. HTH.

Yea that is what I thought being my temps were kind of low adn then they shot up. I think the fever came from all the cramping and not sleeping last ngiht and then being nervous. Today is the only day I didn't temp on time. I took the earlier temp and logged it. So we will see.

That is what I am trying to do thanks! I am so nervous because the meds she gave me made me very irritable and raw down there it's weird. So the thought of the speclum going in makes me cringe hopefully it will go fast and it be over with at a blink of an eye!

Sorry yea it went well, I was all syked up for nothing. I mean other than she the RE was 2 hours late you could only imagine how I was feeling I almost walked out but then I thought I took those supposotories and it was not going to be for nothing! So I waited and waited finally the lady that was before me walked out and she said she was sorry that it took so long I said don't worry about that so 10 minutes went by and I was thinking the worse maybe my RE left and forgot all about me well then the nurse came and called my name I went in nervous as heck tried to talk the whole time about me, my daughter, grandkids just to get my mind off of it. Well she got it in and then asked me if i was cramping and I said no she said good, all I felt was cool liquid and then some running out onto my behind and that was it a couple pictures on both sides and that was all she took the catherer out and I got dressed. I did bleed some but not much it was mainly mixed with mucus or that liquid dye but it's all gone now. NO CRAMPS to speak of either. AND of course as you can figure out I am in the "clear" thanks be to GOD!

Oh and my temps went back down so I do believe the high temp yesterday was due to the medication I was given. So we will see, I have an appointment on thursday to check my follies!
