Phoenix Rising ^^^

Has anyone here ever had a Bartholin's cyst removed? I have had one for several years. I've had it opened (drained) twice, only to have it come right back. During my last pregnancy, it seemed to get larger. It doesn't really hurt, but, just knowing it's there is very unsettlingfor me. Frankly, I find it rather embarrassing.
I'm scheduled to have it removed at the end of May. I was wondering if anyone has had the surgery to remove one, and I'm wondering what to expect post surgery.

Ive had 3 removed at two different times and my post surgery wasnt too bad after the first couple days, just really sore and hurt depending on how i sit, pressure wise. But then i had a friend who had one removed and was back at college and work the next day so i guess it depends on the size and exact location
