 Bay Area Kaiser doc for PCOS - not infertility?
We switched to Kaiser recently so we would have infertility coverage. We have an RE appt. March 29. My concern is how to treat my PCOS aside from infertility. Previously I saw an endocrinologist for my metformin and avandia. Now I am just on met because I don't think the avandia was doing much besides raising my cholesterol!
I am wondering if there is a good PCOS-savvy endo in the Kaiser network? I am in the south bay area but am willing to travel up as far as Berekeley or San Fran if needed - or an equivalant distance in another direction - it's not like you go to the endo all that often.
