Woulnt it figure that when it matters the most, I have a horrible nights sleep.
Usually temp at 6 am. I went to bed at 1:30 am.
Woke up at 3ish and just laid in bed, no movement.
By 3:15 I realized I would not be falling asleep. Temped: 97.55
Fell back asleep by 4:15. A little tossing an turning before falling asleep. I thought I had reset my alarm to 7am so I would temp after 3 hours of sleep.
Alarm went of at 6, after a little less than 2 hours of sleep. Temp: 97.13
Went back to sleep and wokeup at 9:30 (after 3 hours of sleep) and my temp was 97.57
I kept my temp at 97.13 since it was taken at the "normal" time and marked my chart as "sleep deprived". Wouldnt it figure?

I get worked up about waking up and then don't sleep. One thing I have to tell myself is that it really doesn't matter if I sleep or not; the morning is going to come regardless and I will make it through the day regardless. The worst thing that can happen is I'll miss my temp and/or be tired all day. Not the end of the world either way.
Perhaps I'm just being an optimist, but I'd put in 97.57 because it was taken after 3+ hours of sleep. It might be worth it just to see if it changes anything. Just be sure to note it (but I'm sure you already have).

I think 97.56 - at least that is what some of the temp correctors I used said. I would remove the 6am temp, because it wasn't after much sleep. I used the 3:15 temp & 9:30 temp...just my thoughts.

Well temp went more down this morning...but I am still thinking I am rpegnant and just waiting till the end of the month to test ..hehehehe well at least to see how thigns are going.....I was gonna schedule the IUI but is $1500 and I dont have that money so God help me win the Lotto..heheheh

Tina/Beth, I completely agree with you guys but a Fertility Friend guide (I asked the same question in their VIP forum) said should use the 6 am temp. I've made a note of it in my chart though... depending on what the next temps do I can always change it.

Are you writing the temp down as soon as you take it or relying on the recall? I vaguely remember another cyster who's recall function died but she didn't realize it--thus she had seemingly flat temps.

I've been writing them down straight away. After the third one I thought it was odd so I took it orally as normal (got 36 degrees C) so straight away I took it under the arm and it was 36.1 degrees C...so I don't think the thermometer is stuck at 36 degrees C. Now it says my temp is 36.5 degrees C and it's 6pm.....Not sure what to think...
