Hello ladies. I woke up this morning having some very severe cramps. I had 3, that were probably the worst pain I've ever felt. My back hurts and my stomach is still really tense, even though the cramps have let up. Just a minute ago I had a charlie horse like cramp in my arm that was very painful. I'm not really sure what is going on. I called my RE and she said it might be the clomid working, but I have never felt this before. Is it wrong for me to go into the hospital?

Hey ladies. I'm going a little crazy staring at my chart. It's so different than "normal" for me. I really don't know what to think. Normally it takes about 2-3 months or more for me to O, but it looks like a pretty clear temp shift. I'm not having any other symptoms other than cm being nonexistant now. Normally I have a pretty short luteal phase (8-9 days or so) but I'm not having any AF symptoms yet. I'm trying not to get overexcited, but this is so different for me. I can't help but wonder if something's going on. What do you all think?

Christine

Hi everyone, FF says i O'd on Thursday because of my temps... But my CBEFM didn't give me any Peak until Friday morning (and I went straight from LOW to PEAK). I'm PISSED at my meter -- I don't get it!

Unless that eggie stuck around for a full day, I don't think there's any chance that we caught the egg. Anyway, the good news is that Soy worked again for me this cycle and I o'd for the 2nd cycle in a row, which pretty much feels like a miracle.

Hey ckcahn, have you ever used clomid and how did you respond to it? I'm about to stop treatments and switch to natural and I'm trying to get an idea of how my body will respond to soy. I Oed at 100mg with clomid, so I am hoping that is a good sign.

I'm a lurker, but just wanted to say that the rise is probably totally due to the medicine. Might it be Prometrium? That is what I take, and the rise in progesterone levels is what makes your temp go up, so when you take prometrium it is raising this hormone which ups your temp. Hope that makes sense?

ckcahn, Your temps on thursday/friday/satirday are open circles... did you temp at different times? Since they may not be 100% accurate you may have O'd on friday. Dont lose hope. You could have caught the egg!

Christine, Looking at your chart I see the shift as well. What's up with all the open circles? Were those temps taken later or earlier than usual?

Thanks everyone for your support and your replies!

Geek -- Yes, I was on a mini-vacation/business trip Wednesday thru Friday so I was somewhat sleep-deprived and on Thursday morning entered my temps in an hour earlier than usual. They could be somewhat inaccurate.

Jessica -- I have not taken clomid yet. I've was given a prescription for 50 mg back in November but wanted to try the natural route, since I have heard mixed reviews about the side effects. I've also been reluctant because my OB/GYN said she would only give me 3 months before referring me to a fertility doc, and I didn't feel ready to get that aggressive. I've had no natural O or periods since July of 2008. The first month I tried soy (March), I used 80mg which did nothing for me, and I had to use Provera to start my period. I doubled it for the last 2 cycles (160mg), took it days 3-7, and O'd both times. I have had zero bad side effects, but take it before bed to avoid the headaches and hot flashes I've heard about. How long have you been taking Clomid?
