BBT and Met question

Hello everyone!

I did my first round of 50mg Clomid last month (no Met), and had a beautiful 28 day cycle. Unfortunately my P4 was only a 7.4. So I did ovulate, but it was weak. My BBT chart was awesome! Even temps, clear ovulation pattern. See link below.

This month my Dr. added 1000mg Met to the same dose of Clomid, and my temps are so erratic! Could the Met be doing this? I must admit I have not been watching my diet... been eating too many carbs, but still low fat. I've resolved to eat better, so hopefully that will help.

Any thoughts?

It could just be your system adjusting to the Met. My temps are not always steady, in fact they're usually more erratic than steady, but I can usually still pick up a pretty clear ovulation pattern. Stick with it and see how it plays out, it's possible they could still settle down. Good luck!

I've started eating a lower carb diet, and have been drinking more water... my temps seem to be adjusting back to their normal range (thank goodness!). I just hope Met proves to be a help rather than a hindrance to O this month... I want a BFP for Christmas!!!
