I don't have an endocrinologist yet, my PCOS has not proven complicated enough. The doctor I am anxious to see is my new gynecologist, Dr Langam in Maple Ridge.
i saw dr cheung when i needed help with conciving my girls. he is very good.
i recomend Dr Wong in burnaby for just and OBGYN, and out in Abby there are 2 good OB's that i have been seeing (i need to find there cards to write names)

Went to the doctor today because we have been trying to have another baby for a year well more then a year,and he says this is what I have.I do have three wonderful children but just want one more.I am so emotional about this whole thing.My husband says why not be greatful for the ones we have and I am.I just want one more just one.I live in chilliwack and I am just not sure what to say.I am starting the drug for insuline intoerance fri.

Im Jessie, 25 from Surrey and not yet officially diagnosed because the "Specialist OBGYN" didnt "Believe in PCOS" and all of my issues (including a lack of period for 4 yeasrs) were strictly due to my weight, even though the internal ultrasound clearly showed many cycsts.....
I went baxck to my GP (Who is very good) and she suggested aI do this test... I take a round of pills for 7 days which is suppose to give me a period. On the third bleeding day I need to go for a LARGE list of blood tests. The only problem is... the pills didnt work. So now Im just waiting for an appointment with her to find a way to give me a period.
*sigh*
I signed on tonight because in the grocery store about an hour ago I got really light headed, dizzy and my husband was sure I was going to pass out. When I got home I googled "Dizziness and PCOS" and sure enough.....

I haven't been here for ages...I just saw there was a new B.C. forum I am Christina from Kamloops. I'm 34 and have been married for two years. i don't know for certain whether I have PCOS. i haven't been 'officially' diagnosed...but I have a lot of the symptoms so my doctor put me on novo-Spiroton which doesn't seem to do much of anything Anyone else on this?? it's for controlling hair growth...

I'm in Vancouver, thought I'd say hi. I moved here in jan and am kind of ttc. Well trying is a bit strong. We pulled the goalie just after moving. I expected to get preg quickly, even though I very rarely get af, because all the other women in my fam are crazy fertile. DH works out of town-he's been working nearly exclusively in the states since we moved because he hasn't found a job he wants here. That's putting a bit of a damper on the whole conception thing. And now I've been formally diagnosed with this. Blagh-guess I'm just in general discouraged right now even though I know that's not logical

I really recomend for people in the vancouver are to go to the UBC fertility clinic! they are awsome and for people in the valley i HIGHLY sugest birthing at the Abbotsford regional hosptal. They were so good there. my pregnacy became high risk when i had bad hyperemisis and had to have a PICC line to get iv fluids every day..... the hosptal was great to me!
