Even with PCOS, every woman will respond differently to different pills. For instance, I do best on Nordette, which is usually considered AWFUL for PCOS because of the high level of androgen. However, I have no acne, hair loss, facial hair, etc., nor are any of my androgens high, so that might be why I do well on it.
Dianette is not available in the US, so I really don't know anything about it. It has been in Europe for many years, but for some reason the U.S. Food and Drug Administration refuses to approve it. If Yasmin is available, I know it is the drug of choice, according to my endo, for PCOS, but I think you could still do fine on other kinds. I think it has to be a trial and error with different brands until you find one that works for you.
