I've just started on Yasmin for my PCOS a little over three weeks ago. I'm set to start my period on Sunday, but it came on Wednesday. I'm not so worried about that, because my endo said to expect some breakthrough bleeding at first.

My question is, I am having horrific cramps. I usually just have mild cramps for a day, maybe two. These have been killing me since Tuesdayish. Is it typical to get worsened cramps on BCP?

Yasmin gave me horrendous cramps too. I just stopped taking it and the dr gave me demulin instead. Ask your dr for something else.

I just started taking Yasmin as well and I'm having bad cramps. But I had bad cramps before so I'm not really sure if the Yasmin is causing it.

But when I was on my last BCP my cramps practically vanished.
