Hi All,

I have a quite lengthy story. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2002. Since then, taking BCP sometimes, herbs sometimes, chinese herbs and acupuncture. Nothing helped me properly. This time is the climax.

I've been bleeding since 46 days now. The ayurvedic herbs,chinese herbs,acupuncture etc., didn't help me at all. The doc advised me to take Prometrium(200mg) thinking that it'd stop the bleeding. Have been taking it since 15 days. No improvement so for. I've been passing so much of clots. Did the blood test. These are all the results.

Glucose,Fasting- 94 mg/dL
HGBA1C- 6.3%(slightly high)
TSH- 5.9 uIU/mL(normal range is 0.2 to 5.5)

Day before yesterday only, I refilled the Prometrium for $75. Yesterday, the bleeding was so heavy and I was do dizzy that I had to get an urgent appt. with some stupid OB/GYN(kaiser,milpitas,CA). She asked me to take BCP two times a day. I couldn't get the refund also. Usually, I could notice some changes after taking 1 pill itself. I took last night and also today morning. No changes so for. Also, I'm passing lot of clots and so tired.

Also, my doc asked me to take Iron supplements, BCP(Levlen 28) and also thyroid medication for 6 weeks(levothroid). Do I need to take pills for this much variable value too? Hav anyone got any experience in this.

Is this the way they treat you while you are bleeding heavily. They didn't agree taking ovary scan/ultrasound. I'm so scared now. want to get preggy soon. But so depressed with this unending story. Can someone help me in this regard?
