This may be a strange question but has anyone noticed a change in their eyesight while taking BCP's. I'm pretty sure my vision, particularly distance has deteriorated since I started on Yasmin about 6 weeks ago. A friend of mine went from having almost 20/20 vision to needing glasses for almost everything after going on the pill. She was told that the pill can change eyesight but I've not heard of that before and considering that this is the same optician that told me that I have a squint which I've never noticed and neither have any of the other oticians I've seen I'm not sure how much I trust him. And so I was wondering if anyone had heard of this or experienced the same thing.

I heard that bcp can affect those who wear contact lens. I wear contact lenses and nothing happened. It was one of my teachers that notices i squint back in high school, so some people actually do notice this stuff as opposed to others that wouldnt give it much thought.
I dont know if bcp can affect ur eye sight, but read that big paper that comes with the pill and see if its in one of their side effects???

I have been on Yasmin for 3 years, and I also wear contacts. It seems like I do not see as well, and I cannot wear my contacts for more than a few hours, and then I get a really bad headache. I haven't had any other side effects except this.

I have headaches all the time when on BC and wearing my contacts. I can tell within 5 minutes of putting my contacts in if they are going to be comfortable for the rest of the day or not.
