Ok this may sound crazy to some of you but I just need some advice! I am thinking about going back on BCP for 2-3 mo. and then start Clomid right after that. I have been off of BCP since my DD was 1. I was going to eat better, exercise and see if we could have an "oops"! Ha Ha! I know I have PCOS so that doesn't happen (but I can dream)! I am hoping that if I go back on the pill it will kinda "restart" my body and then the clomid will have a better chance to work. I just figured that my poor body has been all out of wack for about 4 years. A lady at my church did this and got pg the month she quit her BCP (with the help of Clomid). I know we want to expand our family. I will only do 3 mo. of Clomid and if nothing happens we are going to start the adoption process again so either way it's a win for me!

Sorry this got a little long. I was just wondering if anyone else has done this or had any other ideas.

I have never taken bcp, never needed to lol. but i have read on here that taking them can give your ovaries a break, let any cysts shrink, and give a fresh start. goodluck to you, hope it works out

Well, I went on BDP for a few months and then started TTC right after wards, and Ov'ed on CD44 and got a BFP.... didn't stick, but still.

I think it's an idea, and if you want to do it, go for it!
If you're doctor is willing then GL.

Definitely try it. I do not have cycles without BCP so when I started TTC I took the pill for a month, had a period, took Clomid and got pregnant! I am now TTC again and this is the same process.
