I'm curious because my body is so out of whack lately and I'm wondering if it's my bcp. I've been on Ortho Tri Cyclen for about 7 months and af has been like clockwork. However, the past two months have been hell! I've had 2 week periods, some days I'll bleed during those 2 weeks, some days-nothing! It's so hard to predict, not to mention expensive! Pads and tampons aren't cheap!!
the one that has worked the best for me is :Modicon" or also called 7/7/7 i loved it, i started on sunday and when i was on the other pill i knew when AF was going to show up it was down to the hr every time

I have been on - allese, yasmin, nuva ring, ortho, lo-ovral and currently on Seasonal... Yasmin and the ring were the worst as far as mood swings and I gained a tons of wieght. Lo-Ovral was ok the first month then the acne mood swings and wieght gain came on along with the hair issues.
Seasonal ... yeah it seems like a good notion only 4 periods a year BUT before I stopped this pill to try and reset my body I bled for 3 weeks and now I am patiently waiting on AF to show up. If she doesn't I give up haha -- I have packed on 14 pounds within a month, My moods have stabalized like they have never been before and my acne seems to have gotten better.... The hair loss/gain is kinda iffy...
I would love to find one that works like seasonal without the spotting for 3 weeks but I'm still on that search....

I'm on Mircette. I used to be on Ortho Tri Cyclen but I was seriously depressed while I was on it. I've noticed that many ladies with PCOS can't take triphasics like Ortho Tri Cyclen--they don't do a very good job of stabilizing hormone levels because you get a different dose each week. Have you considered trying a monophasic pill?
sounds kind of similar to me b4 I went on meds. I have taken mercilon, Marvelon, Diane 35ED and am now on the different brand which is the same as diane but just a different name it's called Estelle but I dont know if you get those brands in the US
