Bcps and cramping

I recently had a miscarriage. It was a chemical pregnancy so it was very early on. I had to go on bcps this month and I have had cramps the entire time. Not terribly bad but enough to notice. Is this normal? I have had no intermittent bleeding. I was doing injectables when I got pg and we will be trying again when my period starts in about a week or so. I am just concerned as to why I am cramping. When I miscarried I was only 15dpo so I know there is nothing left inside my body as well as my hcg dropping to nothing. Otherwise my skin is so clear (never was really bad to begin with) and I feel good. I am on a newer bcp that my R/E said works really good for girls with PCOS. It's called Desogen. I have taken other bcps before for very short periods of time and they all made me sick except this one. I haven't gained a pound either. Not that I would take this one for any period of time but it sure beats provera.

Im not sure if it is normal.I went on the pill to regulate my periods or lack of.When i first started everything went like clockwork,but after about 6 months my periods became lighter and lighter,to almost none existant.This change was accompanied with cramps off and on throughout the month.So I just stopped takeing them.So I really don't know.

I always had cramps when I was on the pill - yasmin or loestrin. I particularly remember that the first periods while on each bcp were *really* painful.
