I am up to 1500mg of met and had no side effects until that dosage. Now I have terrible (even painful) gas. Has anyone tried Beano or have any other ideas to remedy this?

Have you tried IMMODIUM AD? I haven't used it myself, but it seems to be the most commonly used remedy around here.

I have been having terrible gas and heartburn lately. I ran out of my glucophage last weekend and called in a refill, but I didn't have any. My doctor didn't fill it until Monday. So , I didn't have any ,meds last weekend.
My tummy has not been happy at all. I am having alot of gas and bloat. I will be trying the immodium AD! I hope it ends soon.
