I have read lots of post in this forum. I read a lot of them because to me the facial and excess hair is the worst symptom. I wanted to ask you girls a question. I have read many post where I have heard that girls have hair on the chin, upper lip, and sideburns...but I was wondering are there any cysters with actual beards? If so, when did your beard begin to grow...and when did it seem to be at its worst? Also, when did it start to taper off? I would appreciate any input! Thanks girls! Luv you girls

I grow a beard if i leave shaving, which i sometimes do if i am not going out as after a couple of days growth i find it easier to come off. Also i have very sensitive skin and the break from shaving gives it a rest. I cant remember when it went into a full beard as i have been shaving for 25 years... the only time it lessened a little was when i was first put on spironolactone in about 1983, but that gave me AF every 2 weeks so the docs took me off of it. Was put back on spiro about 2 years ago but it hasnt done too much to lessen the hair, altho very occasionally it gets patchy.. then goes back to normal. Mind you alot of my beard now is grey so maybe thats why it looks patchy....lol.
