does met help regulate cycles? ive been taking met since last month but until now i have no AF yet. did anyone experienced this too? I am not IR but i am on met

Give it chance. It took me about 3 months to see a period but once she showed up she showed up...lol. I see it like this, a metaphor if you will. I see my uterus as a old car, you starting to fix it up, give it fresh gas, fresh oil but it still takes a few trys to get it started. I think thats whats going on, your body having to get everything on track. If you don't see any improvment within the next months, see the doc and he might give you a higher dose. Gosh, I gotta love PCOS, where we want our period...!

I agree with Tara...you need to give met a chance to work. For some Cysters, met works instantly while others it can take up to 6 months.

I know how frustrating it can be waiting...but hang in there and it will start to work..
