Just curious what the standard beginning dose is for XR. I'm about to start and was wondering, since it releases slowly, if you can start out at a higher dose and not have side effects?

I started out on 750mg XR. I think your starting dosage depends on your condition. i.e. if you're insulin resistant, how high your testosterone levels are, etc.

Meds: 100mg Spiro/day * Prenatal vitamins * 10mg Provera (when needed)
TTC Journey:
11/06- 2/08: Wasn't trying, did not prevent
2/08- 4/08: Clomid (50-100-150mgs) No O
5/08: Officially Clomid Resistant... onto Follistim O'ed, but BFN
7/08: 2nd Round of Follistim- in the 2WW
