i got redirected to another website last week, but cant remember which and i keep getting flashing adverts saying ive won money etc, im also limited to what i can actually view as it often says my ip address is banned etc and half the time it dosent let me post my messages, ive started just writing short replies

I can't stress enough: For me to be able to sort through issues and find possible solutions, I need to have very detailed information about what PAGE on the site you're at and the exact steps you're taking to recreate them.
TYPICALLY, if the issue is only affecting a handful of people, the problem is with your computer (ie worm, trojan horse, spyware, etc).
TYPICALLY, if the issue only happens on a specific page, the problem can frequently be traced to some rogue code in someone's sig.

i had to hit back 2 times because of a "search" like when you are being directed to another site. I am running vista with norton 360

Dx’ed PCOS 5/05 and Endo 11/06 Meds: Wellburtin, slow iron and Prenatals
Is everyone this is happening to using internet explorer? I use firefox and have not had it. There was a known security hole in IE that was causing people to be hijacked. There was an emergency security patch that can be downloaded now. Even microsoft was recommending people use firefox before the patch was available. Most IT people were notified about this because it was such a huge security issue for companies.
