I'm thankful for my husband and my daughter. I was in a bad relationship for 5 1/2 years when I finally broke free. I was as interested in meeting a man then as I was going camping with fire ants. Luckily, a mutual friend of both myself and my now husband saw qualities in us that she believed we would both love in each other. For months I told her forget it. I did not want to re-live what I had been through for the previous 5 1/2 years. She decided she would introduce us anyway without me knowing about it beforehand. That inital meeting changed our lives. It was literally love at first sight. The next day he asked me to go for coffee and after that we were inseperable. We moved in together two months later and 5 months later got married. We have been happy together ever since and are about to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary in 3 weeks. As for my daughter, they said I may never have children and so, I am thrilled to have her in my life. She is a wonderful child and is always smiling and happy. These are the two things I'm most thankful for....and of course, the mutual friend that got my husband and I together in the first place.
