I use to shave my tummy all the time but it grew back fast and I got razer burn so I started waxing and it helps with the texture and lasts way longer (I dont really get ingrowns by waxing as long as I make sure to exfoliate really well). I have been waxing (with Nads) for 4 months (about 6 times) and the hair now is so much finer that I think I am now going to just bleach it because a lot of women (ones without PCOS) have hair on their stomachs. I will not be embarassed by some blonde fuzz. It was the full black strip of hair I had before that made me feel like a man!
I usually let mine grow out for a while then veet it.. buut I do have some magic cream I just bought and will try soon when it grows out again.. I hate how it grows back stubbly for a day or two even with veet >.<
I don't call it a happy-trail, that'd be implying it's small like a trail.. it's more of a (not so) happy-highway!
I pluck, wax and shave... this stuff actually bothers me much less than the moustache and butt hair, though!

You should try exfoliating while you wait for the hair to grow about a quarter inch for waxing. I heard if you let it grow out all the way the hair is actually harder to pull out (don't quote me on that). This will help with the build up of dead skin which cause the ingrown hairs. Try queen helene's oatmeal and honey. Its a facial scrub, but i use it all over! lol I even use it under my armpits. I get really bad stubble, and it works! Let me know if you try it.
