Default best pasta...help...confused

Hi

what pasta (brand/types) are the best for us to eat....least irritating to our PCOS/insulin issues.
I eat some pasta on occasion and I need help deciding what to buy.
I'm so confused when I go to the store.

I bought some barilla multi-grain pasta today that looked like a great option since it had no sugar and a mix of grains. is this the type I should be getting (multi-grain) instead of like the whole wheat stuff? I just don't know!
I already know to avoid the white pasta.

when I do pasta, I've been getting the barilla multigrain, called Plus. I used it last night, but if you are following IR, no more than 30 grams of carbs, so you can't even use a full 2 oz of pasta.

I know some of posted about dreamfields pasta, but I just can't figure out how they go from 42carbs to a net5 carbs? Looks like some quinoa pastas can be used but again, you wouldn't be allowed the 2 oz.

Ok found one that I'm going to have to try!!!

My father is diabetic and was a bit leary at the whole dreamfields pasta net carbs thing. He actually did some experimenting with it - taking his blood sugar before and after, etc. and it seems to be good. His doctor actually recommended it to him and it tastes quite good.

I personally love whole wheat pasta, but you have to be careful that it says "whole grain wheat" and not "wheat flour" because wheat flour (or even worse - enriched wheat flour) is basically the same as white flour. I have become obsessed with reading labels for that reason. No more enriched or white flour in our house...nor high fructose corn syrup - which seems to be in EVERYTHING.
