I'm in the middle of laser treatment, so facial hair isn't too bad, but I do have to shave several spots everyday. I bought a woman's shaver at Walgreens that I really like because it is small and seems to fit my face well. What I don't like about it is that you have to recharge it to use it. It doesn't work off of electric power. I'm getting ready to take a trip with a friend. When we've traveled together before, I've tweezed while he was in the shower, but tweezing is now a no-no. I've always shaved my legs with a razor (Venus), and I'm embarrassed to think about leaving my electric shaver plugged in to recharge everyday. I know that's a silly reason, but I want a woman-sized razor that works off of electricity. Any recommendations? I googled and saw the Braun Silk & Soft Body Shave can be used corded. The Norelco Ladyshave gets good reviews, but it has to be used cordlessly.

Basically, women's electric razors aren't made for the face and they're generally pretty poorly made compared to ones designed for men. With men's razors there's a fairly predictable hierarchy. The cheapest ones are battery only. Next tier up are mains only. Up from that you have rechargeable only. Then mains line and rechargeable. Then mains line and quick rechargeable. But why be embarrassed? Let him see it charging and let him see you using it -- if he doesn't like to see you shaving your face, he's not the right guy to be with.
Good luck finding a good women's electric razor....I've never been able to find one that shaves close enough to suit me.

I use a high end men's Norelco and it isn't run off electricity but I only have to recharge it about once a month and I use it everyday, It holds a charge the longest I have ever seen. Whatever you decide I hope that you find what works right for you. Have fun on your vacation.
