Can someone recommend a good razor for women? I have been using a Mach 3 for years and it has been really good but recently I seem to be getting razor burn, nicks and cuts. I thought maybe I should try a different razor. TIA

Try the gilette for women (it only has 2 blades and is a greenish turquoise.) It is disposable but I find works the best...
I have tried Intuition and Venus both and have issues with each of these. I prefer the Gilette cause it works well, lasts, I don't get "burn" and best of all not much $$.
Mach 3 is great! I steal DHs all the time! Did you see the ones that now vibrate? Supposedly, its supposed to help stimulate the hair follicles or something...Havent tried it yet.
Anyway, the best womens razor that I have used has gotta be Venus. That razor doesnt have those stupid wire things wrapped around the blades. I hate those!

I tried intuition for a while but have switched back to venus again!

Jenn, where can I find these orangish yellow razors? I usually use a Gillete Sensor Excel, but they are a bit expensive considering I go through them like they are goin outa style!

I use the orange soliel razors too. I love them. Citrine- I got mine at either walmart or K-mart. They're worth checking out.

Not sure if you have both in the U.S. but here in Canada they have the Mach 3 and the Mach 3 Turbo. I find the Mach 3 Turbo is worth the dollar or two more than the regular Mach 3.
Good luck finding a razor

Venus is the best best best. don't bother with Venus Divine. it's the same thing except extra moisturizers and extra price tag.

Well I took the plunge and I bought a pretty pink Venus razor. I must say I am impressed. Although the first time I used it I nicked myself but I blame that on using shaving cream. I normally use soap (I know, I know) or hair conditioner nick-free. I agree totally with triquetra3509, I almost bought the Venus Divine and then I realized it was the exact same thing only more expensive. Thanks for the recommendations.

I used to use venus, it was pretty good, but then I tried intuition. Its not just the fact that you don't need to use shaving cream--the big block of shaving moisturizer stuff on it, it hits your skin first, and it makes it soft and hard to cut yourself----I'm so bad at cutting myself. But now--Ive found something even better than that... I had dipillatories, but I got "veet razera". Its a foamy dipillitator, with this plastic 'bladless razor'... You put the stuff on for only 3 minutes, and its much easier to put on,a nd doesn't stay on your hands like the cream nair stuff, and its much quicker, much for effective, and doesn't burn your skin..anyway, after three minutes, you take the plastic thing and scrap the hair and the foam away..it makes it much much much much more effective, and simpler!
LaurieAnne, how long does the hair have to be before that thing will work? I can't go more than three days without shaving, if I do I get pimple like things on the top of my legs, very itchy. I seen the Veet on tv and it looked so easy. Does it last long or do you have to do it every few days?
Thanks,
Dena
