Anyone know more about beta numbers? I went to the betabase and it said my doubling time was 51.26... I'm not sure if thats good or not. My betas were roughly 42 hrs apart and it went up from 34 to 60 so it didn't quite double but the times are obviously different. I'm sure if I would have went at 1 pm it would have went up 8 more. I thought doubling was good but I found the median on betabase to be around like 36 hrs at this low of a beta. My p4 decreased by 1 so they're freakin' out about my progesterone supp. I was suppose to pick it up yesterday but they needed prior auth. So now I have to work on that... any input?

What was your progesterone to begin with. Def start that asap regaurdless of the result today. Are they giving you another beta soon? Your doubling time is low but not unheard of. Just keep your head up and pray for the best. My first beta was 16 11dpo then 14 dpo it was only 50. A week later it shot up to where it was supposed to be. Just keep up the progesterone and if you are taking met don't stop til around 11 weeks plus.

It actually only needs to increas 1.6 times in 48 hours, not 2 times. I was worried with mine, too, because it did not double but I am still carrying not one, but 2 babies! GL!!! No advice on P4, I was on supplements so they never tested mine.
You'll find that your P4 levels will go up and down (if they were/are actually tested frequently) so don't worry too much about it going down by only 1 but do get it checked semi-regularily (i had mine checked every 5-7 days if it was lowish)
I think your beta is moving along fine. The "standard" is for it to increase by 66.7% every 2 days (48hours ish). You went from 36 to 60 in 2 days and increased by more than 70% so it is on target. It is hard to tell with just a couple beta hCGs as it is nice to see 3 or 4 when really deciding.

Once I hit 100 or so they started catching up. Now everything seems to be fine. So try not to worry.

Thanks ladies! You definetly made my outlook more optimistic! I seen too that boys sometimes have lower hCG counts... we hope for a boy... but a healthy baby to term would be ideal.
