Beta Sitosterol for hair loss I read alot of infor about this subject. The active ingredient found in Saw Palmetto is actually minor to what is found in Beta Sitoserol. Look up yourself under Google search. Too many sites to read on it. It reduces the "Alpha 5 reductase" converting Testosterone to DHT. It greatly reduces male prostate problems as well as male alapecia (sp?).

The brand i use is called " Notrol" Beta Sitosterol De-oiled phytoSterol 300mg. These are only some of many I found through searching.

I forgot to mention.. its also very good for the heart, and lowering cholesterol (which is how I first found out about it), and helping the immune system..then when I found out about its great tesosterone lowering properties I HAD to get it..good luck!
