Here is my (long) story! In April ‘08, I came off BC pills after being on them for 4 years. I went on them originally to make AF lighter and shorter, but they did the complete opposite for me. After trying 4 different brands during that time period, I decided to go off the pill. DH were not TTC during this time. AF ended up getting lighter after being on the pill so long. I never knew I could have PCOS all that time, I just knew I had a really bad AF every month. I was also very thin at this time… 5’1”, 110 lbs, ate like a horse. Summer 2008, I suddenly started gaining weight all in my abdomen area. In early August ‘08, I started having pains in my right ovary that went all the way through to my lower back. My AF for August/September never showed and I thought I was pregnant. CD 50 I finally went to the GYNO and was told I had a cyst. She put me on Progesterone (Prometrium) to shrink the cyst and induce AF. I finally got AF around CD 60. She said this shouldn’t happen again… October/November AF never showed either… when it got to be 50 days, I went on the Prometrium again… GYNO realized something was wrong at this point, and let on that she thought it could be PCOS or Endometriosis but never really did the testing then. Finally, January ’09 came and went… hadn’t had an AF since November. I was fed up. DH and I were thinking about TTC soon since we were buying a house… GYNO did blood work and found out my progesterone was non-existent and my estrogen was through the roof. She induced AF one last time with Prometrium and we started Clomid in February with her official PCOS diagnosis, although she never did an U/S to see if my ovaries were polycystic. After 2 rounds of Clomid (February & March), I decided to see a new Doc. I had stumbled upon this site and heard other ladies were getting monitored more… I wanted that. I started seeing my OB in April and am SO thankful that I did. She has extensive experience with PCOS and used to work in an RE’s office, so she knew what to do and told me she would act as my RE so insurance would cover the treatments. She immediately did an U/S and confirmed the PCOS diagnosis… I had several small cysts lining both my ovaries. She immediately started me on Metformin. We did one round of Clomid + Trigger in April before she decided I should take a break to get my DH a semen analysis (end of April) and get me an HSG (early May). During this break, I tried Soy… it fooled me into thinking I could have O’d two times during the cycle, and my cycle was 43 days long. I decided to kiss Soy goodbye… For the June/July cycle, we went back on Clomid + Trigger… BFN. For the July/August cycle, we did Clomid + Trigger, and I decided to throw Pre-Seed into the mix… we also decided that if we did not conceive this cycle or the next, we’d stop for the year and save up for IUI in January. The Pre-Seed came with 2 of those cheap testing trips... so when I was 9dpo, 10dptrigger, I decided to test to see if the shot was still in my system... it was a positive, but it was so light, I couldn't really photograph it. So yesterday, at 10dpo, 11dptrigger, I tested again... it was a little darker...
TODAY... 11dpo, 12dptrigger, I got a BFP on a FRER! It came up right away and is even darker than yesterday! So after 6 rounds TTC… 5 on Clomid (3 w/ Trigger), 1 on Soy… we finally got our BFP thanks to Pre-Seed! I am still so scared this *could* be the trigger... what do you guys think?!?!?!

Thank you, I just can't believe it!!! Part of me doesn't want to get my hopes up because I want to believe it's real and NOT the trigger... especially since it is 12 days past the trigger... but... the tests ARE getting darker... gotta mean something, right?!?! AH! I am going to go buy DH the Willow Tree figuring of the father holding the baby and give that to him tonight as a surprise!!!!

That is so awesome! I researched trigger shot and DR say to wait 10 days after trigger. And if your BFP get's darker it must be true!
