Hey everyone, I'm 16 and really looking for a big cyster, or anyone that can talk to me. Lately, I've been having a rough time with it, and I just really need someone I can relate to. x-Nikki.
Nikki--I'd be more than happy to be your big cyster 16 is definitely a rough age to find out you have PCOS--I was diagnosed at 18 but it was the day before I started college so that was tough too.

Hey, well im 14 and i was just diagnosed with pcos on the 8th of June. I didnt have my period for 2 years! I started having it at age 12 and it was regular like clockwork until the summer and it just disapeared. My mom said oh it was normal, and well when i went to my regular pediatrician and told her that she flipped and said that was totally not normal. She made me get an ultrasound to make sure i had no cysts. Luckily i do not. My parents thinking nothing was wrong waited a couple months until they finally got my bloodwork done. I then went to a doctor, who i must applaude on, he was extremely smart and knew what he was talking about. My first appointment with him he told me to get a glucouse tolerance test which is a horrible test. The sugar drink you have to drink makes you sick to the stomach i felt like i was going to die. When i got the results and returned back to him, he told me i was fine insulin wise but my testosterone level was high. He told me i have pcos, due to the testosterone, my disapearing period, and i had the acne and etc. I knew all along i had it because i was ubsessive with with figuring out why my period wasnt coming and looked up many reasons for it. This one was the most evidant. So when i was told i was actually quite happy. I knew what was wrong and it could be treated. All i wanted was my period back, and well i have now started something i cannot remember the name of. But i take it for 10 days and it will hopefully give me my period back. He said i would take that for a boost start and once im done with that pill im take a BCP, yasmin. I look up information about this a lot and i would really like to have a big cyster to talk to. Now that i know more about it i know i have a lot ahead of me to do and worry about and i wish to have someon to talk to. It would be great to have a big cyster.

Hi I'm kaitlyn and i would love to have a big cyster! I'm turing 16 on July 4th and was diagnoised when iwas 12 and was just recently diagnoised with diabetes =/ I have many things i want to do in life and sometimes need guidence =] I love love love my team of doctors at the UW childrens hospital. I play volleyball as a left side hitter =] which is pretty cool for being only 5"1! and ive lost 25 pounds these past couples months and i'm really excited!
16 is definitely a rough age to find out you have PCOS--I was diagnosed at 18 but it was the day before I started college so that was tough too.
