My name is lilian Iam 23 yrs old, I was diagnosed with pcos about 3 years ago. My symptoms are irregular periods, acnce, and weight gain. Iam a full time college student stuying health science, I have two precious fur babies (cats). Some of my hobbies include reading, listening to music, watching movies, and girl stuff such as shopping and makeup. My name is Lori. I am 39 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS 25 years ago when I was 14. Back then not much was known about PCOS compared to today.
My syptoms are pretty typical of PCOS. I have no AF (maybe 10-12 real ones in my life), weight gain, acne, excessive hair growth (I have to shave my face daily), IR and elevated triglycerides.I have had issues with depression and anxiety that may or may not be part of PCOS. I did conceive once on accident (what a wonderful accident!) with diet and exercise alone. that accident is now 16 years old and my world. I was not able to intentionally conceive after that. I am currently being treated for my PCOS not TTC but just looking out for my long term health.
I would love to be a Big Cyster to a woman who needs it. What I would not have given to have this site and some one to talk to 20-25 years ago!
