hey im a high school student and in the 10th grade and i'm 16 i just got dx 3 weeks ago and i was looking around and found this so i thought that i would try it out so im looking for a big cyster.. umm so to tell you about myself i play the alto saxophone in my high school marching band and i have a lot of the symptoms of pcos including the weight gain the extra hair and with oll of that the weirdness of high school people. so i guess thats me so thats it...
Hi my name is Vanessa-Rose. I was Dx’ed a few days ago (01/22/08). I started having issues when I hadn’t had a period since Feb ’07-though I’ve never had it very regular-it was extra irregular to not have had one in almost a year. When I went to my doctor he told me that I had some signs of PCOS; break-outs, severe weight gain, pain in my ovaries, e ct. He had me take some blood tests to ensure that it was not just a hormone imbalance-what he found was that it was not. So I went for an ultrasound & he found approx. 15-20 big & small cysts in each my ovaries & a few on my uterus. I was petrified & still scared because I don’t understand any of what’s going on with me. The cysts have developed since June 2006, which was the last time I had an ultrasound.
Well other than posting at SoulCysters.com, leathneck.com, & facebook/myspace…I love spending time with family, reading, writing, painting, going to museums & spending as much time as possible with my boyfriend. I live with my boyfriend & we’ve been together through the good times & bad over the last year. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for my family & friends, because if I call you a ‘friend’-you are my family. I’m going to school & majoring in Business Management & me and my boyfriend would love to open up our own hotel someday.
I’m not intentionally funny, but people love to laugh at the goofy stuff I do! I don’t waste time dwelling on the past & I hate when people give me sympathy…I’m a strong woman who can survive anything-I just sometimes need a push in the right direction…
Anyone want to be my Big Cyster?..I don't bite! :o)
hmmm if i dont get a replpy from mine in like 1 day im going to searach for a new one and lee i would be happy!!! mine reply to my message but still has not emaied me back so yeah if i dont get a reply tomorrow or something i might look for a new cyster

Diagnosis's: Asthma Insulin Resistance
Medicines: Proventil HFA (1 puff every four hours as neeed for shortness of breath), Advair (250/50 2 times a day), Metformin (1 500mg pill daily)
ooh this reminds me I've been very bad & have neglected to talk to my little sis recently! (in my defence she hasn't talked to me either!)
