Question The Big IF?

Right now I'm not ttc but I haven't really been preventing it either. My doctor said getting pregnant will be easy IF I ovulate. IF that's the the case then I shouldn't have any trouble later on. My question is... is it really that easy as making sure I ovulate or does it go a little deeper then that? I know she is the doctor but from what I've been reading not all doctors are well informed on PCOS. I'm scared I won't be able to have a baby one day and I'm tired of not knowing my possibilities.

Hi there. Well, ovulation is certainly the only way to get pregnant from what I understand. But another issue could be our significant other. I do not ovulate as far as I know, but my gyno wanted to have my hubby tested. He got tested and his sperm count is fine, but 50 percent of his sperm die within 30 minutes. :-( She told me he needs to see a urologist to figure out the reasoning for this and we will as soon as he get's insurance. So basically, she has put figuring out how to get me preggers on hold until she figures out what's up with my hubbys sperm. I know it is very frustrating. You are also right about many Dr's. not knowing much about PCOS.

I know I have to ovulate to get pregnant but I wasn't sure if there was any other factors. If I'm ovulating does that mean my hormones are regular enough to get pregnant or is there any other reason that could get in my way?
