Bikini Waxing?

Who here has had a bikini wax? Not me, want to but am soooooo scared! How much dose it hurt? Are you naked? How long dose it really last? Help, in need of information!

if you want just the bikini line done then you are not naked, they just move your underwear to the side a little.
The pain honestly isn't that bad. it only hurts for a split second and then it's gone. But, if you tense up your body in anticipation of the pain, then your follicles tense up too and the hair won't come out as easily so she'll have to do it more.

if you are going brazialian it's a little more involved and painful...even the next day. But the first time is the worst I promise! It gets easier every time. For this you need to be naked and spread eagle! She may even ask you to hold your leg up by your head! It's really strange the first time, but you totally gbet used to it. Just remember that the person does this for a living and sees the same thing multiple times a day. If you can just suck it up and go for it, it's well worth it! The hair really does grow back a lot thinner and for me lighter. Oh and they do the "back" area as well.

Shaving my bikini line is not an option for me because of the awful red bumps I get. So I say if you're going to wax, just get the whole thing done! Any partner will be thankful

I get my bikini line done all the time, but still haven't worked up the courage to get the Brazilian done.

I am a total wimp when it comes to pain (see my posts in the epilator thread recently!) and I still get my bikini line done, it's worth it for me.

I would like to try a Brazilian sometime, but don't try this for the first time!

For a standard bikini wax, the whole thing lasts about 15-20 minutes, including dressing and undressing, talking to the beautician, etc. You leave your underwear on, sometimes they tuck a tissue in the side to stop wax from getting on it.

Give it a go, it's over quickly and you don't have to go again if you hate it...I am also finding the hair growing back softer and lighter, so that's another bonus if you stick at it.

I should've added - obviously wear your highest cut pair of knickers so that you get the right amount done. If you're doing it for a holiday, make sure that they are higher than your bikini/swimming costume.
