Hi cycsters

First let me start off by saying Happy Turkey day!!!!!!

Now onto my question........ I can't seem to do anything right to remove my hair "down there". I have now attemtepted shaving like 5 times. Once with a new blade, once with a duller blade, an electric razor and skin so soft shaving cream also conditioner. But I have these annoying little bumps. Some of them are ingrown hairs growing back and some are just painful little red bumps!!! Help please I use to be able to shave and be "bare" but I can't figure out what to do to get rid of it!!!!!! I've also attmepted nair but it seems like I may be allergic to that too. I hate them. What do you do or use?

Hi there,
If you are not having the best of luck with Nair try Veet maybe? I could never use Nair, but tried Veet a couple of weeks ago and really like it. You can find it at WalMart next to Nair. Good luck!

There's a product out there called TendSkin that is made specifically for this issue. You can buy it online or even make a homemade version.

Here's the link to the instructions on how to make the homemade stuff:
http://www.geocities.com/bonnecasey/...nhomemade.html

I'm with Jean... Veet is great! Just used it on my arm hair tonight in fact I hear good things about this stuff called "Magic Hair Remover" made for black men who tend to get ingrowns to use on their beards. I picked some up at Sally Beauty for $1.99 on sale, but I can't get the HS to calm down enough down there to try it out (sigh).

Hope you find a solution! Those ingrowns can be, well, a pain.

I know this may sound simple..but have you tried going without shaving for 2 days and then soak in a hot bath, use some really good moisturizing shave lotion and then shave? I notice if I shave over razor burn I already have, shave too much, or my skin is too dry it will get worse and I wont get a close shave, it stays stubbly.

Default Cootchie Cream!

Hurrihottie, I forgot about that one! I've never used it, but my friend raves about it. She buys it on the cheap on Ebay.

I don't shave down there too much anymore, but dang I want to buy a bottle of that just to sit it out in the bathroom! I'm weird like that Give nosey folks something to really look at!

Thanks ladies for all the great ideas. I swear if you didin't know about my shaving issues you'd think I have some kind of spotted leopard disease. Thank goodness DH knows the "truth". I'm a little nervous about the waxing that sounds scary beisdes a waxing person wouldn;t touch me down there w/ my current condition.
