Default binge eating?

Does anyone else have a binge eating disorder? I never feel the sensation of being full...I just go from starving to being so full I feel sick.

Do you have Insulin resistance? That can cause problems with hunger/binge eating. Cysters are at a higher risk of having an eating dissorder than the general public. Before I started my lower carb diet and was put on Metformin I just didn't stop when I was normally full. I ate till I was way overful. I was that way from childhood on. Now I don't have that problem.

This has just started happening to me. The only thing that will cure that dissatisfaction is BK. After that I feel so sick.

I guess I'm going to have to do the low carb thing. That seems to be what everyone is saying. I just pray I can get over the cravings

Low carb really isn't that bad if you can find some recipes that work for you. There's a wonderful site that I know about but I don't know if we can post links here. I just have to stay focused on doing the right thing.

Yeah, the no sugar added ice cream and chocolate helped me a lot when i first started the diet. I eat all the fruit, fruit juice and no sugar added jelly I want, so that helps too.

I do this...but not consistently. My issue is with "snacking". I eat small amounts all thru the day, vs sitting down and eating three huge meals. I know that people say that "small meals several times a day" is better, but I feel like I am eating too much. Is anyone else a "Snack Attacker"?

Posting links is fine.

I found that apple cider vinegar helps with the cravings...even better than "BK". It is also being studied as an aid in insulin resistance.
Vinegar and IR?????
Question to the Vinegals!
Vinegals.....still out there?

::points to herself:: I'm a bingeaholic. If I'm happy I eat, if I'm sad I eat, if I'm lonely I eat...the list goes on and on. Think of it this way. Food has the power of being an addictive substance because of the seratonin it releases. It's called Compulsive Overeating or Binge Eating Disorder or something along that line.
If it's a really big concern and you feel it's affecting your life, you can look in the phone book and I'm pretty darn sure there are Overeaters Anonoymous groups in your area.
They use the 12 step program like in AA. I've been thinking about going myself, but I tend to be a little agoraphobic.
Hope that helps!
