Birth control and high blood pressure??? Seasonale?

Started taking BCP to help with symptoms of PCOS along with Met. Went to Doctor yesterday for UTI and she wants me to monitor my blood pressures since they are up..thinks it may be the pill. I am taking Seasonale..it is the one where you have a period every 3 months but I am stopping it at three weeks so I have a period every month.
Anyone know if they cause high blood pressure? What about dryness since I think that may be what caused the UTI?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

the combined pills do raise your blood pressure. However i am not familiar with seasonale. I just switched to a combined pill and my blood pressure was borderline high. My doctor is having me keep track of my blood pressure and told me if it got any higher that 130/80 to let her know. Hope this helps
