 Birth control and Met
I am a little concerned about the possibility of problems taking met, having pcos, and yet doing the birthcontrol thing. I am recently engaged, will probably be getting married by the end of the year, and my fiance and I know that we don't want to have kids right away. At least a couple of years to have fun with each other and settle into marriage.
Is anyone else out there on birthcontrol? Does it counteract things like Met? Do the hormones in the birthcontrol make for more problems with balancing? Does it become one more thing to overcome in trying to lose weight? Does it decrease your chances of getting pregnant when you stop taking the birthcontrol?
These are definitely questions for my doctor, but I don't see her until September and that's about the time I want to get the pill if I want to be all set to go come wedding night. So I'd love some feedback from the trenches.
