Birth Control Options?!?!

I am a ballet dancer in my 20s and weight is a big issue for me. My doctor wants me on birth control to regulate my periods because I have PCOS. I was wondering if anyone knew of Birth controls that do not have a big weight gain factor....I have tried to already Yaz, which I was allergic to (p.s. is that weird?), also tried Ortho tri cylclin lo....which made me gain weight.....any suggestions?!?! I am in desprite need of HELP!!

I didn't gain any weight on Diane-35.
Although, I am very overweight already so Im not sure it would have the same effect on a slim body.

I'm on Apri (generic form of Desogen) and it's worked wonders for my PCOS symptoms. I also tried Ortho-Tri and gained 7 pounds in the first two months on it. With Apri, I've had no weight gain.

thanks so much I am going to assk about that apri one I know I gain like 5lbs in one month and on adancer in Leo and tights it shows!! Hehe thanks again!!

I take Yasmin which is very similar to Yaz so it may not be a good choice for you. However, I started taking it when I was diagnosed in Jan. 2007 and I have lost 55 pounds since then. I have also been working hard at losing weight, but the Yasmin didn't hinder the process.
