Question Birth Control Pills and High Blood Sugars???

Hello all, wow, it has been so long since I have visited the board. Three children keep me busy!!
I have a question. I recently started birth control---about a week ago. My sugars have been running high the past 3-4 days. Would you say it is from the pills? I think yes, and I have an appt w/my doc in two days, but tonite I had fried tofu, and veggies, and a tiny bit of rice and my sugar was 450!!! YIKES!
Anyone else have this experience?

Thanks ahead of time for your replies!
