Cool A bit off topic Make-Up question..

Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering...
Ever since I was around 14 I've noticed my eyeshadow doesn't look (to me) as if it shows up on my eyelids because I have the dark mosse on my eyelids from the Acanthosis Nigricans. It's just color, not an actual layer of skin or skin tags.
Maybe I'm not really good at putting my make-up on but it seems like any shadows I buy they don't show up does anyone else have this problem?

I have always had the same problem. Unless I wear an eyeshadow that is a liquid/gel type, the powders never show up. But by the end of the day the liquid type does not look the best!

I love the eyeshadow primer from Urban Decay. MAC's is good as well.

Try using an eyeshadow base. I know Loreal makes one as well as most department store brands.
It's a cream that looks like concealer, and you just put a coat over your lids before your eyeshadow. It makes your lids one even shade, and it keeps the shadow in place (no creasing). And if you have oily skin it's especially great!

I have had this same problem for as long as I can remember. It seems that the eyeshadow either gets sucked into my skin or the skin on my eyelids is so dark the shadow won't show up. I use the same concealer that I use under my eyes, but it does wear off some days. I can never find the eyeshadow base when I need it, but I used to useit and it works wonders.
