Question black stomach hairs... :(

hey sweeties,

i have black stomach hairs and as im like rly pale skin you can see them like a mile away! i think they look disgusting and manly, i dont want them there but i dnt want to shave them as theyl come back blacker and thicker! but i thort if i waxed them surly id have to wax my whole entire stomach bcoz itl look silly with just a patch, even the light hairs are obvious!

has anyone ever waxed there stomach??

has anyone ever bleached there stomach hairs??
(theres a bleach for facial hairs... im temped to try it on my stomach!)

Let me now if youve got any great ways to ideally remove them hair or get them unoticed!

Thanks my luvlys!

Emma xXx

I SO know how you feel! My tummy is covered with black hairs, lighter below the chest (harmless fluff, but still noticeable)and black and coarse just above my navel. Let's not even talk about what's happening BELOW my navel What I do is wax the area right above the navel when I do my bikini wax, and bleach the lighter hairs above that part. They do become invisible, if only for a while. I only do that in the summer though because I wear a bikini when I go swimming and it would look strange otherwise (with just a smooth patch and fluff all around it). In the winter I do nothing about the lighter fluff but I pluck or wax the coarse, black hairs.

And that, in a nutshell, is why I never wear short tops!

Nektar75 thanks sweetie, thats helped alot. i did try to pluck at a few hairs but it hurt way way toooo much!!i dont wear short tops thank god, but it does make me slightly body concious! my bf doesnt mind the hairs but i do! i also love to wear bikini's durin summer but hvnt done bcoz of the hairs! most of them are around my navel which make my belly bar look rly yukky! anyways... thanks sweet x

Jenniferd, sweet, at least its problem that can sovled eh, i no how your feeling and its not nice. im going to try bleaching the lighter hairs even lighter which are nearer my boobs and possibly wax the rest right off.
In a way im temped to try bleach the lot and hope the bleach makes them fall out!! but it wont, they wouldnt make the bleach that strong! Ive tryed dying them but it didnt work, the colour just didnt go n the hairs! Maybe you should try and give it a go... waxing maybe or bleaching, if you do i hope it goes well!! =D

Hi Emma, I just wanted to let you know your information is a bit switched around. When you shave hair does not come back darker or thicker then it already is, as it is just cutting off the top layer of hair. Waxing and plucking or any kind of removal by taking the hair out by the root DOES make them come back thicker darker and often you will get multiple gemini hairs (many hairs growing in one follicle) I also have very course black belly hair fromy my belly button down and see an electrologist for permanent removal. She is having such a hard time removing them even with a high setting because I plucked for years and it makes the roots become even more deeply rooted and also will make the hairs curved causing more ingrowns. I wanted to let you know this so you dont make the mistake I and so many women do by plucking and waxing. Unless you plan to wax for the rest of your life dont start now, I suggest laser hair removal but more so I suggest Electrolysis, as its the only proven way for permanent hair removal. Good luck hun!
